Alabama A&M University has named Andy Fuller Interim Head Football Coach. 

Fuller served as assistant head coach and head of football operations for the Bulldogs while coaching the tight ends and running backs this past season.

Fuller came to Alabama A&M in 2007 after a successful seven-year playing career as an offensive and defensive lineman with the Tennessee Valley Vipers of the Arena Football League 2.
 
In 2014, Fuller was inducted into the Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Alabama A&M University Family is saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Ella Byrd McCain, one of its most ardent supporters.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, November 16th at Bryant Chapel AME Church in Birmingham, Alabama. The church is located at 3125 Spaulding St. SW, Birmingham, Alabama.

  In the last days of August 2017, thousands of families throughout southeastern Texas were negatively affected by the epic impact of Hurricane Harvey, its tumultuous winds and once-in-a-lifetime flooding episodes.  Many families have lost everything and are facing perhaps months or years of rebuilding.  Moreover, some members of the Alabama A&M University Family are native to or have significant ties to the greater Houston metropolitan area.    Similar to earlier responses to such tragedies, AAMU is activating its “Hope for Tomorrow” Relief Fund through its AAMU

ECONOMIC IMPACT

1. Alabama A&M University has an economic impact of over $350 million statewide and $228 million on the region, according to the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Commerce.
