The 4th Annual Microwave Dave Day is scheduled for June 24, 2018 in downtown Huntsville on Washington Street. The event will run from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. with multiple stages and nine local bands with Microwave Dave and the Nukes closing out the festivities. Donations from the day go to the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation furthering their mission -"Supporting Music Education in North Alabama."

The Alabama A&M University Family is saddened by the Monday, February 19, 2018, death of Dr. Virginia Caples, long-time educator and administrator at AAMU for nearly 40 years. The Alabama A&M Family remembers her life and legacy in a tribute video.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24th, at 12 noon at First Missionary Baptist Church, 3509 Blue Spring Road, NW, Huntsville, Alabama.
